1. About the service and these terms

ReelLab provides browser-based audio and video editing, creative effects, streaming and collaboration tools, and optional account, payment, and cloud AI features. Features depend on your browser, device, connection, and any purchased access.

These terms describe the rules for using ReelLab and its optional paid services. The operator and contact details are listed above.

2. Accounts and access

Use an account you are authorized to use and protect access to your sign-in provider. Do not impersonate others or access another person's account. You must have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement for any purchase, or the permission of a parent or guardian where the law permits this.

Your account connects your purchases, feature access, credit balances, and payment records. Report suspected unauthorized access through ReelLab support.

3. Your work stays yours

You retain the rights you have in your projects, recordings, and other content. ReelLab does not claim ownership of that work. When you choose a feature that transmits content, you authorize only the processing, temporary storage, and delivery needed to provide that feature, as described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having permission to use and share your content, including music, images, voices, likenesses, and recordings of other people. Sharing a room or broadcast link can give its recipients access to what you transmit. Keep your own backups and export work you want to retain.

4. Responsible use

Do not use ReelLab for unlawful activity, infringement, fraud, harassment, malware, unauthorized surveillance, or non-consensual intimate imagery. Do not use voice or face tools to deceptively impersonate someone or violate their rights. Obtain any consent required for recording and broadcasting.

Do not bypass payment or account controls, probe other users' data, or intentionally disrupt the service. Rights in third-party assets, models, and software remain with their owners; any applicable licenses still apply.

5. Cloud AI and external services

Cloud features send the content you select to the relevant service provider. External sign-in, streaming, AI, and payment services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Review those before using them.

AI output may be inaccurate, unsuitable, or similar to other output. Review it before publishing or relying on it. ReelLab does not promise that generated content is unique or that it is cleared of third-party rights.

5a. Personal provider API keys

If you prefer not to buy ReelLab AI credits, select personal API keys in the AI panel and enter your OpenAI or xAI/Grok API key. ReelLab still acts as the network relay: it receives your key and submitted content and uses the key to call the selected provider. The provider bills your own account; ReelLab does not deduct its AI credits for these requests. Provider funding, permissions, usage limits and charges are your responsibility.

Keys entered in the AI settings are saved inside the project when you save or transfer it, and restored when you open it. Anyone who can read the project can extract and use those keys. Guard the project and its backups, remove keys before sharing, or encrypt the file with a strong external encryption tool. The editor's legacy ZIP password option is not strong protection for API credentials. Removing a key from the current project does not remove it from older copies; revoke exposed keys at the provider.

The relay keeps personal keys temporarily in memory for requests and agent sessions, for up to two hours per agent session. It does not intentionally store them in account or agent-task records. After a relay restart or session expiry, continue the task from the project to reconnect. Do not paste keys into AI prompts, support messages or chat history. Loading a project does not itself authorize a paid AI request.

6. Purchases and credits

Before paying, review the checkout description, price, currency, taxes, feature access, and any stated duration or usage limits. A recurring charge applies only if the offer expressly identifies it and you authorize it. These terms do not create a subscription by themselves.

AI credit pack pricing. Our standard USD AI packs add a provider-tax allowance of 23% and a ReelLab service markup of 10%, each calculated on the usable credit amount. For example, $100 of usable AI credit costs $133: $100 for usage, $23 as the provider-tax allowance, and $10 as the ReelLab markup. These amounts are included in the displayed pack total; they are not deducted again from the advertised usable credit. The 23% allowance budgets for VAT charged on provider purchases and is not additional AI credit or the ReelLab service markup. It is not a statement that 23% of your total payment is remitted directly to the Polish government. VAT charged on your purchase, where applicable, is identified on the relevant invoice and accounted for under applicable law, including any available input-VAT deductions. Review the displayed breakdown before buying; any different rate or price must be disclosed before payment.

AI credits for LLM, image and video are separate ReelLab usage balances, not a bank balance, investment or personal balance at OpenAI or xAI. Payments go to the ReelLab operator, who funds and operates shared provider accounts to deliver eligible AI features. Where purchase-triggered xAI funding is enabled, your payment is recorded as pending funding. Usable credit is activated only after the operator confirms available bank funds and xAI confirms a successful provider credit purchase. Activation is delayed, not instant. Allow at least one working day for funding and activation. A purchase made on Saturday may take around three calendar days, for example until Tuesday, and may take longer. Weekends, Polish public holidays, payment settlement, bank processing, initial payout holds, operator confirmation and provider processing can extend this period; one working day or three calendar days is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery deadline. Automatic Stripe payouts do not make customer payments immediately available in our bank. Until funding succeeds, the purchased credit remains pending and cannot be used. Review the activation notice before payment and contact support about delays or refunds for non-delivery. Other funding arrangements do not promise an immediate, matching provider purchase. Usage is deducted according to the pricing disclosed for the feature. Mandatory refund rights still apply. Keep payment confirmations and check the account and network before authorizing a cryptocurrency transfer; completed blockchain transfers cannot simply be reversed.

Provider compatibility. Purchase-triggered funding in ReelLab supports xAI only. ReelLab does not implement an automatic OpenAI credit purchase when you buy a pack. OpenAI and xAI are separate providers: OpenAI credit cannot be converted into xAI credit through this service, and funding xAI does not fund OpenAI. Do not buy these packs for OpenAI usage while xAI purchase-triggered funding is enabled; shared OpenAI usage is unavailable in that mode. To use OpenAI, select personal API keys and use your own funded OpenAI account. ReelLab usage credits are not transferable provider tokens and are not deposited into your personal provider account.

You may pay using an external wallet or, where available, ReelLab's optional browser-based signer without a separate wallet application. The built-in signer processes your recovery phrase and signing keys locally in the current browser tab to sign transactions. They are not sent to ReelLab servers or saved in your ReelLab account or persistent browser storage. Signing material remains temporarily in tab memory while the signer is connected. The warning against sharing recovery phrases with support does not prohibit entering your phrase into this local signer.

7. Problems, cancellations, and refunds

If a purchase is missing, incorrectly charged, or does not work as described, contact support with its reference and a description of the problem. Use the refund request control in Profile & Billing where available. Do not include passwords, private keys, or recovery phrases in a support message or refund request.

Nothing in these terms removes rights to cancellation, withdrawal, repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund that apply under consumer law. For example, eligible EU distance contracts generally have a 14-day withdrawal period, subject to the rules for the particular service or digital content. Where losing that right requires express consent and acknowledgement, merely using the app or reading these terms is not that consent.

No voluntary refunds or cash redemption are offered for LLM, image or video credit purchases, including unused credits, because ReelLab allocates funding and capacity through its shared provider accounts. This policy does not exclude refunds or other remedies required by law, including for non-delivery, defective service, incorrect charges or an applicable withdrawal right. Provider funding by itself does not waive those rights. Any voluntary refund offer for other products is additional to statutory rights. Refund method, timing and any permitted deductions must be explained for the particular refund.

8. Availability and account restrictions

ReelLab may need maintenance or changes to address defects, security, or changes in external services. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every device. This does not reduce obligations attached to paid services or mandatory legal guarantees.

Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to address misuse, a security threat, or a legal requirement. Where practicable and lawful, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact support about the restriction. Restrictions do not automatically cancel your statutory refund rights.

9. Responsibility and changes

Each party is responsible for its conduct as provided by applicable law. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded, or requires you to give up access to courts or consumer remedies available to you.

An effective update must state its date and be made available to users. Material changes affecting ongoing paid services require appropriate notice and any consent or cancellation rights required by law. Posting a new version does not retroactively change a completed purchase.
